Welcome to the YMCA Healthy Lifestyle Village! This unique partnership between the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, and the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center takes prevention and wellness to a new level, encouraging optimal health for spirit, mind and body.

By design, it's a place where people can find ways to improve their health and quality of life. It's also about taking action before poor health and chronic disease sets in by incorporating a unique combination of resources. From health management to fitness and recreation, our goal is to motivate people through education, planning, and positive action to take charge of their lives and their health.

The site for the first-ever YMCA Healthy Lifestyle Village is in Brown Deer, just north of Brown Deer Road on Green Bay Ave. The site houses the Rite-Hite Family YMCA (formerly Schroeder), which recently underwent extensive renovations, as well as the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center, home to the area's best and most unique competitive aquatics facility.

The newest, impressive addition to the campus is the 60,000 square foot Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare outpatient center. Completed in the summer of 2009, this center serves people of all ages.

The YMCA Healthy Lifestyle Village provides a continuum of services from prevention and wellness to diagnosis and treatment including:

• Physician offices (including Family Practice, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Electrophysiology)

• Physical  and Occupational Therapies

• Radiology, including open MRI and digital mammography
• Full-service laboratory
